Synopsis

Forestry England has opened a state-of-the-art tree seed processing centre at Delamere in Cheshire, designed to help build forests that can thrive in a changing climate.

This short film takes you behind the scenes of the new facility where the journey of millions of resilient trees begins — supporting biodiversity, carbon storage, and a greener future for generations to come.

This footage would later be featured on BBC Regional News, announcing the opening of the new seed processing facility.

Marcus Brooks | DoP

I was asked to visit the Lobslack Nursery seed processing facility in Delamere forest, Cheshire, to film footage of the machinery working as well as the Forestry team working the machinery, and to film interviews from key people at the plant.
