Synopsis

The Circular Fashion Innovation Network, CFIN, aims to convene industry, academia and innovators to accelerate work and expertise needed to create a circular fashion ecosystem in the UK with an innovation-led mindset.

The Circular Fashion Innovation Network is funded by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) via Innovate UK, Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) & Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) and will be aligned to the Institute of Positive Fashion, a partnership between British Fashion Council and UKFT.

From the Editor...

Working with the British Fashion Council, UK Fashion & Textile Association and numerous clothing brands manufacturers, we documented how it’s made with a focus on circularity and sustainability. From the spinning and weaving mills in Scotland and Yorkshire, through the bespoke tailors on Savile Row, all the way to the high street in Covent Garden and Mayfair, the UK is leading the charge in innovation and sustainable manufacturing. This film follows the Circular Fashion Innovation Network (CFIN) programme in its first year.
